WHAT IS THIS MEDICATION FOR?
Azicen 250mg is a macrolide antibiotic used to treat various bacterial infections, such as throat infections, sinusitis, bronchitis, skin and soft tissue infections, ear infections, and sexually transmitted infections like chlamydia.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Azicen 250mg contains Azithromycin, which works by blocking bacterial protein synthesis, effectively stopping the growth and spread of bacteria. It targets a wide spectrum of bacteria, helping your body fight infection.
HOW TO USE?
Take Azicen 250mg once daily, with or without food, at the same time each day. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Complete the full course even if you start feeling better.
SIDE EFFECTS
Common: Nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain, headache
Less common: Dizziness, skin rash, fatigue
Rare (serious): Liver dysfunction, allergic reactions, irregular heartbeat

WHAT TO DO IF I MISS A DOSE?
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it's close to the next dose, skip the missed one. Do not take a double dose.
