WHAT IS THIS MEDICATION FOR?

Azee 200 Dry Syrup is an antibiotic medicine used mainly in children to treat a wide range of bacterial infections, including throat infections, ear infections, respiratory tract infections, skin infections, and certain gastrointestinal infections. It helps stop the growth of bacteria and speeds up recovery.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Azee contains Azithromycin, a macrolide antibiotic. It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, which prevents bacteria from growing and multiplying, allowing the body to effectively eliminate the infection.

HOW TO USE?

Reconstitute the dry syrup with boiled and cooled water as directed on the label. Shake well before each use.
Administer the prescribed dose using a measuring cup or dropper, usually once daily or as advised by the doctor.
Always complete the full course of treatment even if symptoms improve.

SIDE EFFECTS

Common: Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain
Rare: Allergic reactions, liver problems, irregular heartbeat
Seek immediate medical help if serious side effects occur.

WHAT TO DO IF I MISS A DOSE?

Give the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double the dose.

WHEN DO I NEED TO SEEK MEDICAL HELP?
