Brilinta

Brilinta (Ticagrelor) is a prescription medication used to reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and cardiovascular death in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) or a history of myocardial infarction. It works by preventing platelets in the blood from sticking together, thereby improving blood flow and reducing the chance of clot formation. Brilinta is often prescribed alongside low-dose aspirin for long-term heart protection.
