BENEFITS OF THE MEDICATION:

Poxet 60mg is a medication which is administered to adult men to treat premature ejaculation. It can increase the time it takes for ejaculation to happen and therefore, improves control over ejaculation. However, the uses mentioned here may not be exhaustive. There may be other reasons or situations in which this medicine might be used.

COMPOSITION:

The active ingredients of Poxet 60mg are Dapoxetine 30 MG+Sildenafil 50 MG.

MECHANISM OF THE MEDICATION:

Poxet 60mg is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) which increases the levels of serotonin in the nervous system in order to increase the time taken to ejaculate and also to improve control over ejaculation. It has sildenafil which calms the lung vessels and can be used in pulmonary arterial hypertension. It relaxes the blood vessels in the penis, thereby pumping more blood and allowing it to enter in order to achieve an erection.

CONTRADICTIONS & CAUTIONS:

Hypersensitivity or allergy to Poxet 60mg or any of its components,. Heart problems, History of depression or mania Epilepsy, Liver disease, Kidney disease, Glaucoma, Dizziness or fainting due to low blood pressure in the past, Pregnant or breastfeeding, Suffering with any pre-existing conditions/illnesses.

SIDE EFFECTS:

Drowsiness, Nausea, Tremor, Vomiting, Dizziness, Erectile dysfunction, Fatigue, Headache, Increased sweating, Indigestion, Restlessness.

HOW TO USE:

Poxet 60mg can be taken with food or on an empty stomach. The dose and duration should be followed as prescribed by your doctor. It is best to take this medicine 1-3 hours before any anticipated sexual activity. It is important that this medicine should not be taken more than the recommended dose.

·         Swallow the tablet whole with water, immediately after opening the tablet from the strip. Do not try to break/crush/chew the tablet.

·         Do not take two doses of this medicine at the same time as it can be dangerous to your health.

·         It should be taken only by the person for whom it has been recommended by a qualified physician.

PREGNANCY CATEGORY:

Category C: Animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in humans, but potential benefits may warrant use of the drug in pregnant women despite potential risks.
