Pantocid 40mg – Pantoprazole Tablets
WHAT IS THIS MEDICATION FOR?
Pantocid 40mg is used to treat acid-related stomach and esophagus problems such as acid reflux, GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease), ulcers, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It works by reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach, providing relief from symptoms like heartburn, persistent cough, and difficulty swallowing, and helping in the healing of acid damage.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Pantocid contains Pantoprazole, a Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI).
It works by blocking the proton pumps in the stomach lining that produce acid, leading to a significant reduction in acid levels, which helps relieve symptoms and promotes healing of the stomach and esophagus.
