WHAT IS THIS MEDICATION FOR?
Almox 500mg is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections, including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections (UTIs), skin infections, ear infections, and dental infections.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Almox contains Amoxicillin, a penicillin-class antibiotic that works by inhibiting the formation of bacterial cell walls, effectively killing the bacteria and stopping the infection.
HOW TO USE?
Take Almox 500mg exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually 2–3 times daily, with or without food. Swallow the capsule with water. Complete the full course even if you feel better early.
SIDE EFFECTS
Common: Nausea, diarrhea, rash, headache
Rare: Allergic reactions, yellowing of the eyes/skin, severe diarrhea
Contact your doctor if any severe or persistent symptoms occur.
WHAT TO DO IF I MISS A DOSE?
Take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it’s close to the next dose, skip the missed one. Do not double the dose.

Seek urgent medical help for severe allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling, difficulty breathing), persistent diarrhea, or yellowing of skin or eyes.

FOOD RESTRICTIONS
No specific food restrictions. Can be taken with or without food, but taking it with meals may reduce stomach upset.
HOW TO STORE
Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C, away from direct light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
