Atorlip 10mg – Atorvastatin Tablets
WHAT IS THIS MEDICATION FOR?
Atorlip 10mg is prescribed to lower high cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood. It is used to reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular complications, especially in people with diabetes, hypertension, or other risk factors.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Atorlip contains Atorvastatin, a medication from the statin class (HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors). It works by blocking an enzyme responsible for cholesterol production in the liver, thereby reducing bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides, while increasing good cholesterol (HDL).

Less common: Nausea, constipation, weakness
Serious (rare): Liver dysfunction, muscle breakdown (rhabdomyolysis), allergic reactions
