WHAT IS THIS MEDICATION FOR?
Atarax 10mg is prescribed for the treatment of anxiety, tension, allergic skin conditions like urticaria, itching, and as a pre-operative sedative. It also helps relieve symptoms of seasonal allergies and insomnia in some cases.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Atarax contains Hydroxyzine, an antihistamine with anxiolytic and sedative properties. It blocks histamine receptors, reducing allergy symptoms, and works on the brain to relieve anxiety and promote calmness.

HOW TO USE?
Take Atarax 10mg as directed by your doctor, usually 1 to 4 times a day, depending on the condition. Swallow the tablet with water, with or without food. Do not exceed the prescribed dose.

SIDE EFFECTS
Common: Drowsiness, dry mouth, dizziness, blurred vision
Less common: Headache, confusion, stomach upset
