WHAT IS THIS MEDICATION FOR?
Aciloc 300mg is used to treat and prevent acid reflux, heartburn, gastric ulcers, and indigestion. It is also used in conditions like Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Aciloc contains Ranitidine, an H2-receptor blocker that reduces the amount of acid your stomach produces, providing relief from acid-related issues and allowing ulcers to heal.

HOW TO USE?
Take Aciloc 300mg exactly as prescribed, usually once or twice daily, with or without food. Swallow the tablet with water. Do not crush or chew.

SIDE EFFECTS
Common: Headache, constipation, diarrhea, or dizziness
Rare: Liver enzyme changes, confusion (especially in elderly), and rash
Report any severe or persistent symptoms to your doctor.

WHAT TO DO IF I MISS A DOSE?
Take the missed dose as soon as possible. Skip it if it’s almost time for the next dose. Do not double the dose.

PRECAUTIONS

  • Inform your doctor if you have kidney, liver, or lung disease.

CAN I TAKE IT WITH OTHER MEDICINES?
Yes, but consult your doctor. Aciloc may interact with:

  • Ketoconazole

  • Atazanavir

  • Warfarin

  • Antifungals or HIV medications

FOOD RESTRICTIONS
Avoid alcohol, spicy foods, caffeine, and smoking – these may worsen symptoms.

HOW TO STORE
Store at room temperature (15–30°C), away from heat and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
